Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

So the devil is a thief and he's a good one. He's a chameleon. He gets in and out of your life by talking to your mind. Do you know it is all too often people hear voices and immediately say it is God? When I first began to follow ministries I wasn't going to follow somebody that said they had heard from God without the application of God in their life, without the prosperity, without the health of God and the supernatural effects of God working in their lives just through simply teaching the word authentically.

Satan is a master of deception and the person he likes to deceive the most is the church of Jesus Christ and the weapon he uses is to pose as the Holy Spirit or Jesus Christ. So the first thing that you have to put in your point of belief is not every spirit but try the spirits to see which spirit is of God. How do we try the spirits? Not by an obscure verse but verses that lets us know our God in nature. Knowing what God is capable of and what God is not capable of.
