Proverbs 7:18-20 (Amplified)
18 Come, let us take our fill of love until morning; let us console and delight
ourselves with love. 19 For the man is not at home; he is gone on a long journey; 20 He has
taken a bag of money with him and will come home at the day appointed (at the full
moon).
These are those that are seducing the bride, trying to turn her into a harlot. Are
you with me? Can you see it? Flattery is so sweet isn't it? She's going to tell you
everything that you want to hear. She's going to make you feel something that you've
always wanted to feel but never ever really wanted to pay for.
The devil will do the same, that's how he's going to con you, that is how
he's going to lead you into abuse. "It'll be alright. Just have another glass of
wine, oh one glass of wine isn't bad. Come on, you can watch this movie, what's a
little bit of a swear word here and there? Come on your bigger than that. So there's a
little bit of blood and guts in it, murder and aw come on, we're under grace, be a
man".
We have this understanding of Christ that He is a forgiver and a restorer, yes He is
but He's coming back. You touch the bride of Christ; He will tell you straight to your
face, "I'm a jealous God. Don't you touch my bride. Don't you mess with
her". All the way through the bible He tells you, He warns you. You cannot go and touch
the working of the Holy Spirit and try and soften the blow of a chastisement that God is
bringing. We give flattery for acceptance. You walk like that and you're forgetting that
you're dealing with the bride of Christ.
