Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest".
Do you know that throughout the church we see today, people are still trying to come
to Jesus as beggars rather than coming and weeping between the altar and the porch violently
saying, "I believe that on the cross of Calvary You defeated poverty, You defeated
sickness, You defeated rejection and depression, You defeated all these things that bind my
life and I tear them off and I come seeking change". Just as He changed Mary Magdalene
from a woman of the night to a woman of the light He can change you. Just as He changed
blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus from a beggar to his birth right He can change you.
But we have to come to Him and rend our heart. That is why the bible tells us to
repent. Why do we repent? God did not make me a beggar. God never made me to be ignorant.
God never made me to be depressed. This is what the DNA of my family through generations and
generations and generations has birthed and bought in me because everyone was created equal.
Everyone was created as the son of God if we believe the creation and that God is truly our
father.
