2 Timothy 2:5 (NIV)
Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown
unless he competes according to the rules.
I have trained people that were street fighters that wanted to become boxers but
they never became boxers because they never learned the rules. They're lawless. They
will always be just street fighters. They do not learn the rules. "I can fight". Go
out on the street and fight but don't expect the notoriety of someone that plays by the
rules.
Every game that you play in life has rules and it has an umpire and you can't
play football with baseball rules. You want to enter into a higher dimension of life without
playing by the rules for the place you want to go. You then try to teach how to be
victorious in life and you're lawless in your own life because you want the office of a
teacher but don't want to be taught.
Success has rules that govern it that we must conform to. You find out what success
demands and change your life to meet it. That's what trainings all about. That's why
wise men and women around the world hire life coaches to change them into where they need to
go. God doesn't make the garment of righteousness to fit me. He makes me fit the garment
of righteousness. It comes in one size.
