Luke 6:38 (NIV)
"Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and
running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be
measured to you."
God refuses to be out given and if you give your life to Him He says, "I'm a
giving God, anything that you give to Me genuinely, cheerfully, from a good heart, I will
give back to you pressed down, shaken together and running over. I am the God that takes
people that have been made nobodies and give them back their future and releases them
back". You can't out give Him and you can't say, "Oh I'll do it if You
give me back this, this, and this". That's not giving it.
But how many of us have really given our lives to Him? We say, we give our lives to
Him and yet we go and do what we want to do and we then try to use His name and His
principles to enhance our life and not do what He wants us to do. To give means to
relinquish all title. It doesn't start with your finances, it starts with your life.
Abraham had to give his son. He didn't know whether God was going to give him back or
not but he knew God's nature. He had seen God. Those that do know their God shall be
strong and do great exploits. I have respect for people that trust God, who look not at the
things seen but at those things that aren't seen.
