Luke 9:23-24 (NIV)
23 Then He said to them all: "If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. 24 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Me will save it.

You can't go somewhere until you work out where you're at. Honesty, see yourself as you are. See the monsters that lie before you and see God bigger than them all. All we have to do is believe.

Paul denied himself when he was arrested. When he was in the innermost prison being whipped he could have come out any time he wanted to. All he would have had to do was to play that ace that he was holding onto and declare his Roman citizenship. When they came to him and said, "Ok now you leave by the back door". But that's after the church had started. He had done what he was called to do in that place. He said, "No you bring me out by the front door, I'm a Roman Citizen. You give me a public apology."

See when you've crossed over and you deny yourself, you're dangerous, you've got nothing else to lose. I want to challenge you today in your heart of hearts; do you want to cross over? Will you allow Christ to possess you by His Spirit to reveal Himself to a dying world?
