Matthew 13:44-46 (NIV)
44 "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it,
he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. 45
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46 When he
found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.
So many people try to bring so many things with them but yet the Promised Land is so
big and so prosperous that you can get it all back in a moment's time. Isn't that
our biggest problem in life, letting go of one to get the other? We bring everything in; we
carry baggage even from one relationship to another relationship. We're always carrying
baggage that we don't know how to let go of and Jesus is saying that if we want to
progress and to become all that we can be, we have to let go to travel in, to make it and
trust God. There are people that say, "I can't I'll lose my house". Well you
have to be prepared to loose your house. You've got to be prepared to put yourself on
the verge of disaster for a miracle.
