Hello, I was just wondering, what occured first when Christ descended? Did he first visit paradise and greet the prisoner that died alongside him and secondly visit the place of torment and preach to the captives from the time of noah or vice versa? I've been taught all of my life that Jesus first went into hell as soon as he descended due to a spiritual obligation from taking on the world's sin, but I recently read that he first visited paradise, then the place of torment and then finally ascended back to earth. What order do you believe to be true and why?
